Deltec have specialised for many years in producing unique aquarium systems at their factory in Germany to satisfy the demand of expert aquarists who know and want the best.

 

Each aquarium is manufactured to order to specific customer requirements from a wide range of standard options which can be discussed in detail prior to purchase.

The Deltec Aquarium is not just a beautiful piece of furniture and craftsmanship it also incorporates cutting edge technology and innovation in its systemised approach to fish keeping by use of a wide range of Deltec ancillary equipment found within the cabinet.

Every piece of glass is machine or hand polished extending even the stress bars to give a total quality product that has no rival. The cabinets have a sturdy metal frame and a waterproof base as well as adjustable feet to allow you to level the tank on most flat surfaces.

Aquariums are supplied pre-assembled and piped up ready to go and even larger aquariums which are a company speciality can be supplied this way if access and cranage on site is available.

Very large tanks are built on site from pre-cut and polished glass or assembled in sections pre-formed in the factory.

The specification of the aquarium system is limited only by imagination and financial constraint. On standard systems the cost generally increases depending upon the customers choice of construction and finish from Laminate to SoftLine.

Laminate

The laminate aquariums are made using a high quality 3 mm melamine laminate which is available in 9 standard finishes. This material is very strong and obviously totally resistant to fresh or salt water. The joints are carefully formed to give a perfect mitre on the corners and the edges are finished with a special matching extruded section.

 

TrendLine

This style of system should be classed more as a piece of fine furniture with a built in aquarium, as the same degree of time and care is put into its construction and finish.

The aquarium edging and cabinet once manufactured is fully sealed and coated with a multi stage two pack automotive paint system which is available in a solid colour or metallic base coat and lacquer finish.

This quality of coating ensures that the aquarium will last for many years without warping or deterioration.

We have many customers who are still using their aquariums after 15 years.

The choice of colour for TrendLine and SoftLine aquariums is unlimited and solid wood finishes are also available in this design to match more traditional decor.

 

SoftLine

This format of aquarium is similar in finish and form to the Trend line but is manufactured using a different construction method as is necessary for the larger tanks over 2.5-3.0m and all bow fronted aquariums.

Whereas the frame for the Trend line is constructed and painted in one piece into which the tank sits, the Soft line is manufactured in several separate pieces which are individually painted and applied to the tank during construction.

Notes:

* A thermostat is not required if you control the cooler via an IKS computer or similar which reduces the cost of the cooler.

** A Reef Flushing Unit can be turned on when required, via tap on return pump. Activation forces water behind the rockwork pushing trapped detritus into the water column for removal in the filter chamber and skimmer.

*** The Eco Cooler doesn’t allow the corals to suffer from global warming.

**** The Micro reef Aquarium overflow chamber flows directly to the skimmer.

These systemised tanks can be purchased as bare units or can come with all of the equipment and pipework fully fitted and plumbed.

The cabinets and tanks are available in any colour and any size, we can match a colour of your choice, and feature a waterproof liner within the cabinet.
