As many tanks contain high levels of phosphate in the rocks and media it will be necessary to draw this out into the water column and this was the basis behind the old (lower) recommended tank size data. As the majority of people now use RowaPhos continuously on their tanks then the old figures are no longer representative of the true picture. In addition to this you will see that other competitors are now quoting figures based on the maximum adsorption capacity and therefore this change puts everyone on a level platform.   The differences make interesting reading.
